About Us
Our Mission
The Pointer Association is a 501c3 nonprofit organization consisting of parents/families, students, alumni, faculty and other community members serving Point Loma High School. Our mission is to raise funds to enhance the education at Point Loma High School, promote the activities of alumni, and engage in activities permitted under the California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law.
Our Goals
Our main goals are to support capital campaigns and ongoing programs and initiatives, maintain a database of PLHS alumni to help them stay connected with their alma mater and classmates, and help Point Loma community members connect with their high school to increase PLHS’s value as a community asset.
Community Engagement
We welcome all members of the Point Loma community to join us in supporting the school and our fantastic students. It's a credit to the entire community, engaged parents, staff, community members, and alumni who dedicate much of their time and energy to support the school.
